The program will feature a variety of hymns, including “O God, Our Help in Ages Past,” “Rejoice, the Lord is King,” “Lead On, O King Eternal,” “I Will Wait for You,” “He Will Hold Me Fast” and “Shall We Gather at the River?” The ensembles will also perform contemporary works inspired by biblical texts.</p> <p> The event is free, and no tickets are required. Though I’ve been left with some physical markers of my experience, I’ve also been blessed with a desire to educate others, and a spirit of perseverance that reminds me how the words of James have been true in my life.
